Spring Break Camp
This one-week camp provides kids with a fun and active way to spend their spring break. The camp is one of the YRCC's free programs, but space is very limited. Children must be between 6-12 years old to participate. The 2018 Spring Break Camp will be from March 19th to March 23rd from 10am to 3pm.
Sign up starts January 7th, 2019, and a refundable camp fee is required. Sign up and pay fee at the YRCC to reserve your space. Contact us with any questions.

Summer Fun4Kids and Teens Camp
Join us at the Yvonne Richardson Community Center for a fun-filled summer at our Summer Fun4Kids Camp (SF4K) and Teens! We have eight weeks of themed day camps. Every week we go on field trips, play games, swim, do crafts, and explore the world around us. Our Summer Fun4Kids camp is for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. Lunch and afternoon snack is provided for all campers by Fayetteville Public Schools Child Nutrition Department Summer Lunch & Snack Program.
Our teen camp is exclusively for students who have completed 6th through 8th grade. In addition to our regularly scheduled field trips teen campers will go on a unique adventures to Beaver Lake, Ozark Escape Room, canoeing down the White River and more!
Space is limited to 50 children per week.

Summer Fun4Kids Junior Counselor Program
This leadership opportunity is for teens that have completed at least one year of high school. If you volunteer for 3 or more weeks of summer camp you will be eligible for an end of summer trip to Silver Dollar City on August 5. An application and reference are required. Limited spots for each week are available.

Kids' Nite After School Program
Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters we offer an after school program for ages Kindergarten to 8th grade. We provide fun and structured programming that includes educational enrichment and homework assistance. Youth are fed a meal by Sowers of the Harvest food program. Additional activities include field trips, cooking, gardening, games, crafts, computer coding, physical education, outdoor education, and so much more!

X-Factor Home School Physical Education
The YRCC offers a free weekly physical education class for children enrolled in home-school to ensure that participants receive training in Health and Fitness as part of their studies. Classes teach the fundamentals of warm-up, physical activity, teamwork, health education, and nutrition all while partnering with local organizations to enhance and expand learning opportunities. X-Factor is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am - 11:00am during the spring and fall semesters.

Preschool Playtime
This is a special (free!) open gym time for ages 2-4years and their caregivers. It features our imagination playground and obstacle course. Sign in at front desk, no sign up needed. See flyer for details.Mondays 10:30am-12:00pm starting October 1, 2018
Teen Open Gym
Teen Open Gym is for middle school and high school kids, ages 12-18. Come out and shoot some hoops with your friends or use other available recreation equipment. Teen open gym time is currently held during school breaks. Check the YRCC calendar for the next teen exclusive gym time!
Kid Crops Gardening
The ARPA award-winning Kid Crops program gives children the opportunity to learn about gardening and nutrition, while planting and harvesting their own crops with Parks and Recreation Horticulturists. Kid Crops is offered seasonally throughout the school year as a part of our after school program on Wednesday evenings from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the garden located on YRCC’s premises. YRCC's summer gardening program is available from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. to youth registered for Summer Fun4Kids Camp.
Girl Scouts
The YRCC hosts a multi-age level Girl Scout Troop. Girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade participate in age appropriate programming that includes first aid, camping, cooking, sewing, marketing, STEM, and more! Our troop participates in both fall product and cookie sales to teach the girls financial literacy and to support troop expenses. We currently have spots available for girls in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Troop meetings are all Fridays except the last Friday of the month during the school year from 5:30pm to 7:00pm plus field trips and overnights throughout the year. Financial assistance is available. Adult Pickleball
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (except in summer) the YRCC offers two courts for adults to play pickleball. YRCC invites players of all ages and all skill levels to join. Equipment is provided.
Open Family Gym
Please check our calendar for Open Gym time, it can change depending on rentals and programming! During family gym everyone is invited to come and be active. Basketballs and other athletic equipment available.Open Family Gym

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Each year, prior to the Easter holiday, YRCC organizes a large Easter Egg Hunt for families to experience: food, fellowship, fun, thousands of eggs, and prizes for youths are provided. Registering for the event will help get you in the door faster! All information we collect is anonymous and helps us keep YRCC programming and events free!

YRCC Speed Networking Meeting
This meeting invites local non-profit organizations and varying community oriented organizations seeking opportunities to learn about some of the neighboring organizations within the area and hopefully provide opportunities and/or discover resources available by bridging the gap among community organizations to increase out impact as service providers. Annual Thanksgiving & Christmas Bingo
Each November and December, the YRCC offers an event where adults ages 18 and up can enjoy Bingo! Several games will be played for the chance to win all sorts of prizes including: gift cards to restaurants, movie passes, toys, etc. We welcome all to join us and be merry.
